  • An early-morning crossing at Loyada — our team is positioned on the Somaliland side in advance- then on to Zeila's old coral-stone town, with desert stops to watch antelope, gazelle, and ostrich — then on to Hargeisa, with the afternoon free to settle in. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Overnight: Hargeisa

  • Morning in Hargeisa — the livestock market, Waheen Market, and National Museum — followed by an unhurried visit to Laas Geel's ancient rock art. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner | Overnight: Hargeisa
